Hi if you clicked this it means you really want elaboration so here's the absolute gist of it.

  • I block if I see you shit talking a character I like. I block if I see you shit talking a ship I like.

  • I do not care whether you like something problematic because what other people like is beyond my scope of caring. If you're into weird shit that makes me uncomfortable just respect that if I tell you I'm uncomfortable you need to stop sharing it with me and we're cool. If you don't respect that, I'll block you.

  • If you think somebody liking something weird or problematic is something that is equally as bad as being homophobic or racist or some other flavor of bigotry I think you literally need to re-evaluate your priorities.

  • If you think consuming or enjoying media with some bigoted part in it makes somebody a bigot you are incorrect. That being said supporting media made by bigots is a bit different.

  • I do not touch shipping discourse with a ten foot pole because there is no nuance in it and either you probably think shipping relationships like two fully consenting adults with an age gap or a 17 year old and an 18 year old dating is immoral and illegal (go outside) or you think there's something wrong with people who are uncomfortable with loli/shota content/incest content and that people who aren't okay with it and respectfully assert that boundary by blocking people are ruining fandom (go outside.)

In truth if I had to ultimately summarize my stance on this shit, it's anti-harassment, anti-censorship, and if you shut up about things you hate a little more often you'll probably find the internet infinitely more pleasant.
